Extrality was born from the joint vision of Nicolas (CEO) and Pierre
(CTO), both PhDs in Machine Learning (Time Series) and
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) respectively. The initial idea
came from Pierre, who during his five-year experience at Dassault
Aviations as a research engineer in digital simulation, experienced
how long and tedious calculations limit the inventive mission of engineers.
He met Nicolas, an entrepreneur and academic researcher, with whom
he developed the idea into a business thanks to Nicolas' experience
as the sole founder of a technology startup for six years and his seven-
year academic career in Machine Learning, where he was
already questioning the links between physical and statistical models.
They combine entrepreneurial experience, academic excellence,
deep industry expertise in computer simulation and detailed
knowledge of customer pain. They founded Extrality in August 2019.
